Bio
My name is Drew, and I'm actor/writer/director based in Seattle, Washington. Some previous acting credits include Clyde Barrow in Bonnie & Clyde, a Player in Masks Play! (Commedia Dell'arte), Noel Gruber in Ride the Cyclone, Isaac Jaggard in The Book of Will, The Emcee in Cabaret, Floyd Allen in Dark of the Moon, and many more.
I recently graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Theatre Arts at Western Washington University, with a concentration in Performance. At Western, I studied Voice, Movement, and Theory of Acting, with an emphasis on the work of Jerzy Grotowski, Tadashi Suzuki, Kristin Linklater, and Konstantin Stanislavski. Since studying Grotowski and Suzuki, I have become a large advocate for movement in storytelling and integrate these methods heavily into my work as an actor. At Western, I was the Artistic Director of the University’s Student Theatre Productions Organization and work closely with faculty to further expand and reform the Department of Theatre and Dance, in addition to administrative duties and organizing, scheduling, and executing three full-length plays per year.
In addition to acting, I am heavily involved in the escape room/immersive experience industry. I previously worked at an immersive experience called "Unlock the Hotel Leo", located in Bellingham Washington. I primarily worked as a Tour Guide through the historic Hotel Leopold, but also dipped into social media management and marketing on the side.
I am also a music director and conductor, and recently music directed First Date with Flooded Productions, directed by Allissa Flood.
